Has anyone seen this book?

All these lists and this talk of academic fiction made me think of a book
I've heard of once and looked for ever since.  It's a little bit of a
personal quest.

The book is called _A Breif Topology of Chance_  I don't know the author,
but I know that it has been out of print for at least four years.  I've
never seen it, and alas the girl that told me about it... well... you know.
The title kills me and she said that the whole book seemed to be about the
interior of one room.  I gotta find it!
