Hi everyone,

I'm going to have to unsubscribe from the pynchon list.  Thanks for the 
interesting dialogue; I am just too busy.  And as I will not be able to 
devour M/D along with everyone else, I want to avoid your opinions so . . 
. well, you know why.  

This comes at a bad time, what with all the hatred and confusion 
regarding Ebonics and my response.  I'd love to say that this has nothing 
to do with it.  Let's just say that it makes it *more* possible.

Anyhow, I hope your M/C exchanges are good and I'll probably tune in to 
them later.
