Read 1/3 of the way through and was pretty disappointed.  Think of 
Vineland without any of that heart's book.  as sugary as cotton candy, as 
weighty as a drenched flower, and worse than stick thin characters.  
Kinda feel bad for the dude that it took him 8 yrs to put together this 
nonsense.  Not to mention the Pynch worship--there is a character named 
Thomas Pinch.  that's when I ditched.
