W/out quoting it, I'd like to strongly endorse Steely's analysis of Schindler's List. My 11
yr old son is going to the Museum of Tolerance in LA today, and will no doubt return
tonight changed forever by the experience. I don't know how I'll answer the many
questions he'll have, but I don't think I could articulate my reservations on Speilberging
the holocaust w/out messing up his head I've just started Goldhagen's book, and I destest
his writing style. Masterpiece? Really? Also feels like a lot of question begging going on to
but don't slam me yet steely, wait till I finish it (which might take a while). My
reservations on Goldhagen don't imply any endorsement of S.S. though.
