Say, gang, what do you folks do around here do to celebrate Pynchon's
birthday?  Any pyn-list traditions?  Anyone feel like starting any?

Mind you, I'm not thinking of anything so prodigious as the complete GR
readings at . . .Princeton, is it?  We'd certainly have to do something a
bit more, um, spatial.  But I figure we're the folks to do it.  And the poor
old guy's turning sixty--gulp.

Call me an early bird.

Strange afternoon--I feel as though my body is inhabited by the spirit of
Laura Petrie.
