Hello, -list. (First-timer who just happened to stumble across you at this
propitious moment in history.)

A random passage from GR that somehow stuck in my head (read 4 times in
1970's and not at all since then), possibly around p. 140-150 or some damn
place, concerned cockroaches in the manger at Bethlehem, vaguely apprehending
bursts of energy which they could not know were the cries of the infant
Jesus. (The paragraph ends, "Your Savior, you see...") I dug this. I
found it a key to the Book (but we all have our own of those).

And then on p. 88 of M&D we see: "In a corner, the darkling Beetle rustles
in its Cage, [...] So far in its Life, it has never seen Rain, tho' now it
can feel something undeniably on the way, something it cannot conceive of,
perhaps as Humans apprehend God,-- as a Force they are ever just about to
become acquainted with...."

But so what, right?

And re: traveler(max)'s question about "I Gluttoni" (p. 104): dunno, but he
certainly seems to be making an effort to mention each of the Seven Deadly
Sins by name (& I am only at p. 150), some of them several
times................................?

So nice to have discovered this List. (I mean, list.)

thankyou
Joe
