Nora's husband is probably more important than Nora herself who is mainly
just the sweetheart of the psychic crowd--a woman who goes from do' to
do' for which her nihilism eminently suits her. Cuckholded Sir Stephen is
the office joke but more importantly a multidimentional genius who's been
assigned to study Slothrop. We get a good look at him fairly soon now
when action moves to the Riviera.
