It sounds familiar to me. Knowing Gregory's predilection for
autobiographical prose and poetry, you can bet that there was such a
skipper and that Gregory himself did her on the boat. The man writes what
he knows. Corso himself is shy a part these days, an eye, gouged out by a
cop.
