GRGR(I): So, what's beyond the Zero, anyways?

(1) So... what's "Beyond"? The "Zero"? --Anyways...

It seems to me like Roger and Jessica are so far away from happiness.
Slothrop often seems happy albeit dopey. Pynchon can seem heavy-handed
in they way he leads me (without "telling" me) to like or not like his
characters -- otoh this leads me into a pretty deep level of
introspection which can be pleasant.

(2) So what?!! 'S beyond the Zero anyways!

Some scenes in this first book have given me a fairly pure laughter
response -- there's no arguing with _that_.

(3) ...

Jeremy
trying to get beyond the one.
