The point I am trying to get at, is that Pynchon invests
certain ideas in his characters, in weissman's case, as is
often the case in pynchon's characters, the ideas are
perverted by either the characters themselves or pynchon's
irony. In weissman's case, this is true of his reading of
the sferics and wittgenstein in V. and his reading of rilke
in GR.

There is a companion, very good, now I can't find it, I have
it here some place, but
I simply did not have the patience after a while.
