Absolutely, no eyes or ears necessary.  This is clear and supportable
by the text.  

Katje is on her own side of one, unflinching self-interest, IMHO.  I'm
not even certain that she withholds the information about Blicero's
location only out of any residual affection for him or whether she is
afraid that if she discloses too much that she will get Wim's or
whoever's bullet because she is no longer of any use to them.  Of
course, anyone who possesses the physical attributes and is so willing
to do almost anything to survive is always of some use.
