Well, as everyone knows, Franken went on to be something
like "Political Satirist In Residence" for the Cliniton White
House. Now, my father, Bert Coffey, was once Chairman
of the California Democratic Party. That was sometime ago,
of course, but I still have my Democratic contacts. They tell
that me Franken's authorship claims, as you quote above,
were intended solely to divert attention from the true ghost
writer of the monumental _Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot_:
J.D. Salinger.
