GRGR(6): English Candy & American Root Beer

Best root beer?  Home-made, from packaged extract.  Careful, though, to
bottle in really strong longnecks.  I did a batch a few years back in Dos
Equis bottles that detonated like grenades for two weeks.  Lone Star bottles
held up well though.  Original A&W, drawn from wooden barrels like draft
beer, is the best of the commerical run. Stuff in the supermarket, forget
about it.  Like comparing Miller Lite to Canvasback Ale (just a plug for one
of my faves).
