granted, it is coming from the mind of a upper middle class guy with certain
predilections: the Playboy channel fantasy seems an apt way of portraying
such a charcacter's inner life.
As for the orgy and the hammer film connection, maybe that's why I liked
it--hammer was corny, as so is EWS to a certain extent, but it's still
creepy.
It is sad that Kubrick, unless he kept a diary or something, last work will
be shrouded in such controversy. Well, the big guy upstairs said, we need
you know Stanley, and probably for once in his life, he couldn't say no.
