'Pi' Question

I think the ending is purposely ambiguous, which didn't bother me. I think
the film is close to the spirit of Borges (with a little Kafka angst thrown
in for seasoning).
A tenuous Pynchon connection--Jim Dodge told me that his book 'Stone
Junction' had been optioned for a film by the same folks that did 'Pi'.
Supposedly Darren Aronofsky will direct it after his follow up to 'Pi'.
