GRGR(4) Slothrop's Sodium Amytal fantasy - "stone-white cervix"

Before we get done with GRGR (4), do you think we can make anything of
the description on the toilet as a "stone-white cervix?"[63.11]  Is
Slothrop's descent also a kind of dreamworld return to the womb? 
Another instance of hysteron proteron, perhaps?  The sewer as womb is
an interesting albeit unsavory image and is perhaps as telling as
Slothrop's preference of a trip into the plumbing rather than taking
his chances with "a whole dark gang of awful Negroes."
