Basically trying to do anything on my computer...

Dependency on machines just raises the conspiracy level up a notch. At the end, it's all a matter of human will...the question is, whose? For my computer it's some programmer-type, a bunch of them, in Cupertino...bastards.
For the V2..who knows? Hitler? nah. Nazis? too easy, no fun in that. A general human [Western] drive towards action by proxy, mechanization, automatization, etc.? A twisted pavlovian deity? hmmm...
