GRGR(10) - uni-reversal pictures (was backwards/futureless look#2)

GR is completely saturated with cinematography. "The Musical" is constantly
celebrated, whole rooms full of characters spontaneously bursting into
song. Reality is very subverted in the Musical, which is I'm sure the very
point. I don't believe, though, that cinematography is centered on a
particular character. It is a genre likely to pop up at any moment.

But the reduction/abstraction of "reality" is a very prominent theme in VL,
and I'm sure GR. There is the primitive who objects to his image being
taken by a camera. The (?)FPS crew in VL was dedicated to "history," which
they blindly thought could be captured on film. Retro-styling is so popular
today. "That 70's Show" has informed many more than "Gimme Shelter."

The connection of "Recording" to "Reversal" is not direct (IMHO), but it is
there. "Replay" and "rewind" may lead to "reverse direction," but to
believe THAT "reality" must involve massive drugs, which may also be the
point...
