The case was not about whether Irving can or cannot air his views. Irving
brought the case himself, suing Deborah Lipschutz and Penguin books for
libel. While the result may (further) tarnish his reputation and make it
more difficult for him to find a publisher; the trial had nothing whatsoever
to do censoring him.
