CIA and Kennedy assassination

Well, I'm halfway through Gary Webb's "Dark Alliance" (thanks for the info,
Doug), and the CIA do not appear to be particularly moral or virtuous, so can't
be ruled out of involvement in JFK's assassination on that count. What is
amazing me is the amount of different US agencies, who all seem to investigate
conspiracies which one or more of their fellow agencies is involved in (CIA,
FBI, DEA, etc, etc). Why are there so many agencies, and so little
communication? Don't they all work for the Government? (a naive question,
perhaps)

by the way, it was good to see more protests at Davos this year, as more people
begin to actively resist the corporate forces of globalisation - look out for
more action at the IMF-World Bank meeting in Washington, April 16.
