Pigs Proscribed

This may be too obvious to even voice but "pig" seems to me like the
preeminantly contradictory symbol of the sixties era simply because the
opposition term--nonpig--so often applied to kids from well off families
attending elite colleges enraged because their Revolution was being
thwarted. Nonpigs have told me they still ocassionally wake up with a
shudder thinking of who it was they were shouting "pig" at.

Perhaps P's liking for pigs is a nod at easily deconstructed hierarchical
oppositions.
