Then I guess my made-in-Japan car is actually "Californian" because
I'm driving it here in California.
Sorry, sushi is Japanese. Kimchee is Korean. Pho is Vietnamese.
Tortillas are Mexican. Linguini is Italian. And so on. We're just
eating it all here in California.
