I was surprised myself at just how respectable that
little Twayne book turned out to be. When all else
fails, there's always one of those little Twayne books
(the little Twayne that could? But note that "No.
602"). They seem to be online, but accessible by
password only. Perhaps if you're at a subscribing
institution ... anyway, came to my rescue when I was
working on the very great Sir John Suckling. In the
meantime, still can't access that Wood review ...
http://www.nybooks.com/nyrev/WWWarchdisplay.cgi?19730322022R
... and I imagine most libraries are going to have
issues of the NYRB that far back on microfilm at best.
It might be a while ...
