"Blood Simple" is great. Even better, I believe, is "Fargo", and I'll take this
once more as an opportunity to mention Sam Raimi, who is an old buddy of the
Coens and wrote the script to "Hudsucker's Proxy" (which is, along with "Arizona
Junior", the worst effort of the Coens IMHO), but who has gone on to direct one
of the most underrated movies of the Nineties. Raimi's "A Simple Plan" has often,
for obvious reasons, been compared to the wonderful "Fargo", but I think it is
even better. Also highly recommended.
