First I must admit that I've never understood the meaning of these
"pynchon-l-digests" instead of simply answering a post under the same
thread.
You're still misquoting jbor in your "war" against him that never ends.
Nobody has said the Bible advocates"ethical bio-technology," it's like
Robert wrote that it's "what one of the voices in Pynchon's most recent
novel sez." Just to remind you:
"In the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, you see, Jesus as a Boy made
small, as you'd say, toy Golems out of Clay,-- Sparrows that flew,
Rabbits that hopp'd. Golem fabrication is integral to the Life of
Jesus, and thence to Christianity." (486.19-22)
