I'm still astonished that y'all spend so much time
arguing about it without putting in any effort
whatsoever to actually substantiating yr case,
whichever case that might be.  Thanks to Richard for
at least putting in some effort.  In the meantime,
having only the time and/or patience to wait on hold
for no more than a half-hour at a time, I've yet to
get through to someone at Penguin Putnam (of which
Plume is an imprint) on one of their 800 numbers (me,
I draw the line at running up a long distance bill on
yr behalves ...), or hear back from them via e-mail. 
As soon as I know, you all will know ...
