Let me get this straight.

I'm aware of that.  And if I do conduct a group read of Vineland, I'll
expect you not to participate, since you have no interest in it.  Thank you.
But why drag Doug into it?  He'll do whatever he wants.

There's nothing that guarantees people won't have an opinion on or an
interpretation of any text in question.

Maybe the thought of Vineland per se isn't threatening to you, but so much
of what you project on this list is reactive to Doug Millison.  Jeez, man.
