... but it's the wackinesss that keeps us from being
just plain wack.  That Nabokov list, for example, is
sorely--and ironically--lacking in any sense of humor
whatsover, from what I've seen of it.  I'm all for the
wackiness.  I learn a lot from the off-topic asides. 
And at leats the occasional flare-up is honest.  But
i'm also all for getting back to work (which reminds
me, maybe i ought to do that now ...), so this week
might not be feasible, but we really oughtta get on
something.  Tim, you had a tentative schedule for the
essays, intros, maybe you could revise that?  I'll do
whatever I can.  One of my off days this week is
spoken for, but maybe i can make good on some interim
"MMV" notes, at least?  Thanks ...
