NP re. fake pics and other hoaxes

One could say, that when some here tried to start in
on the introductions, essays, liner notes, et al., an
esp. cranky one cranked up the grumbling from beneath
his bridge, but ... but that would be to reproduce
such passive (and not so passive)/aggressive moves
here, and I'd rather be rather more forthright ...

I don't recall anyone protesting the Pale Fire reading
the way you bitched about Tim and I attempting to get
something going on the nonfiction.  Me, I neither
advocated nor much partook on PF, but we had something
Pynchonian going on alongside it, and I've only so
much time, so, this being teh Pynchon List, I
prioritized accordingly ...

You 'n' Robt. can type words like "troll" and
"flamebait" all day, but to quote from that AFI list,
"I know you are but what am I?"  Realizing both that I
might not be a target this time 'round, and, more
importantly, that I hardly deserve to be one.  But
y'all know as well that, when you try to rile up
others, you'll rile me up as well, if only because yr
trying to rile anyone up in the first place.  Let he
who is not troll bait the first flame ...
