NP re. fake pics and other hoaxes

Pardon me, but the bitching was in one direction at the time.  Some wanted 
to read Pale Fire.  Others wanted to read Vineland.  The PF folks never 
objected to the plans of the VL folks.  But there was plenty of bitching in 
the other direction (but not from you - why take it as if you were the troll 
I refered to?).

And I never bitched at your plans to read all those shitty essays (but the 
discussion was generally a non-starter), which happened AFTER PF & VL ended. 
  You all can do as you what.  Anyway, your essay/nonfiction “discussions” 
immediately preceded the long lull of silence that's taken hold here.  Go 
figure.
