Californian Sensibility

	There's a remnant of folk who call themselves Rainbow people or the  
Rainbow tribe -- they mostly stick around northern CA and the Bay  
Area but wander wherever -- they have annual gatherings, etc.  Pretty  
much hippies.  I ran into a few of them when I worked at a home for  
disturbed children, Burt Children's Center, in the mid-80s.  Very  
atavistic.
