OK, there is still time to slaughter while awaiting AtD, so I will continue
my investigation of contemporary female writers who might be of interest to
a Pynchon reader.
Margaret Atwood
Alice Munro
Marie-Claire Blais (somebody called Soifs a Boschian book)
Nicole Brossard (Mauve desert)
Susan Musgrave (read somewhere that Charcoal Burners was a very scary book)
Priscilla Galloway (because of her Truly Grim Tales)
Can't think of anyone else.
