teens were 1914-1918

thirties   1930-1936
forties    1937-1946
fifties    1947-1962
sixties    1963-1973
seventies  1974-1983
eighties   1984-1992
ninties    1993-2000

I was born in the fifties, but I am a child of the seventies.
