TRP unfilmable?

Hey, what a brilliant idea! Is there any way we can contact Matt
Groening just to pass this idea on? I can't imagine he's too busy with
The Simpsons movie and Futurama out the way.

Vineland as a Simpsons-style animation running over several episodes
would be so exciting :-)

And something that would appeal to my younger sisters; perhaps get them
reading Pynchon in years to come!

Like I've sald elsewhere, Vineland would make it as a
series of "Simpsons" episodes.

What------ever. Vineland drops some of TRP's best jokes, it's got scads
of TV
references---we need to get it on the Tube, where It really belongs.

They won't use watery dissolves into the halycon times, hopefully
they'll
have enough sense to just flash on the old Movieola through which
Prarie is viewing her Mother's past .

AtD will doubtless make a fine 32 hour film someday.
