from a Boston Globe piece on Carla Bozulich....

"Hello, Voyager" is not quite Bozulich pulling her heart out. Messages are carefully encoded the same way hooks are vigilantly stifled, but meaning occasionally creeps through the gloom: "Voyagers, alright alright/ We're shoving off tonight/ We gotta find life" goes the repeated refrain of "Truth Is Dark Like Outer Space." The track sounds like a three-minute capsule version of Thomas Pynchon's bittersweet behemoth "Against the Day," but it is also a call to arms for the lost boys and girls of contemporary America.
