New Pynchon

Locus (the magazine of SF&F) has this in their November 2008 People  
and Publishing Section (under Books sold):

Thomas Pynchon's next novel will be published by Penguin Press in  
August 2009.  There's no title yet, but according to rumors online  
it's a "noir novel about 400 pages set in the world of 1960s  
psychedelia.

That should keep everybody's mind off of the election...
