D. "hungers' for Anna...his sensuality aflame...

There are two major changes in D. in TMoP and Dostoevsky in 'real life":
His stepson did not die.

And 
Dostoevsky did not commit adultery ( we think we know )...certainly he did not commit adultery with any Anna from Petersburg, since he would not have
gone to his stepson's rooms were he not dead. 

Here, D.'s desire sees the child as blocking it...Very important for what
happens to this child IN HIS IMAGINATION; in THE DEMONS?...
