In addition to the LOL "IJ," "Broom of the System" was a phantasmagoric and
worthwhile quick-enough read, 
but "Girl with Curious Hair" is my favorite collection of any one author's
P/PM short stories.  The voice(s) are amazing: read'em out loud!

and it was DFW's excellent essay "Joseph Frank's Dostoyevsky" in that 
collection that got me hooked on Frank's biography of FD and my recent 
reading of D's work ... which then led to my interest in _Master of 
Petersburg_ ...
