Is it really true that all the paranoia in IV "clearly" is a result of
"all the pot being smoked and all the LSD being dropped"?

Isn't there a definite paranoia on the "straight" side (which isn't
straight at all, but hooked on booze, tv, money or "power", isn't it?)
too, a paranoia of a deadly, cultish hippie-ism à la Manson (see e.g.
Bigfoot's appearance on tv, p. 9)?
