C of L49...Misc. muteness was in the 60s air?

I just rewatched that 1967 movie, Blow-Up---taken
from a Cortazar story, ya know---and relearned/ resaw
the clown mimes playing tennis with an invisible ball. 

Which, of course, reminded me of that C of L49 dance.

And which is leading me to think that a Tati movie of the time
or sumpin' else had mime/muteness tropes.........???

But I'm done miming now.
