Even better: Five books to read instead of "The Lost Symbol", Dan
Brown's soon-coming up, sure to be a blockbuster follow-up to The Da
Vinci Code. A good list too, including CoL49, The Illuminatus! Trilogy
by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson & Radio Free Albemuth by Philip
K Dick, I've read all three and the other two—DeLillo's "Libra" and
Eco's Foucault’s Pendulum—have been on my short-list for years:

	2. The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton
Wilson (805 pages, Dell). In no way for every reader out there,
The Illuminatus! Trilogy is a sublime, surreal piece of cult-SciFi,
Dan Brown with a sense of humor, seventy-five pellets of
mescaline and five sheets of high-powered blotter acid.

a-a-a-and it's even better than Chris Deal's description. I mean, it's
nothing like Dan Brown's shit. . .
