IV - aaagh - Kindle disappearance

I recall pre-ordering IV Kindle when I saw it, I did see it there too,  
but don't find it in my unshipped orders now.

Even delivered books have been disappearing from Kindles recently!

I checked my email to look for a pre-order acknowledgement (which I  
routinely receive from hardcopy books, CDs, DVDs, and the like) to  
find nothing there for IV. And nothing there for a previous Kindle pre- 
order besides the actual order when it shipped (The Evolution of God  
by Robert Wright, recommended)

I sent an inquiry to kindle2-feedback at amazon.com, which has responded  
promptly in the past. I'll report any further information I discover.
