IV - aaagh - Kindle disappearance

I'd not heard about that.   I only saw it was no longer available  
from the Amazon site.   I read the article at the link (thanks  
again)  and it's not surprising about Orwell's work because the  
copyright might very well be mistaken (it's public domain in other  
countries).  I have Coming Up For Air by Orwell on my Kindle and it's  
not been touched - it's an early work I think.  Oh that poor kid in  
the middle of writing a paper!  They stole his notes!

But IV?   Which dim bulb thought that one was available and why?    I  
suspect that the promised availability was the result of an overly  
hopeful someone there in the Amazon purchasing department (so to  
speak) and there was never an authorization from the publisher.   I  
could be wrong,  of course,  but none of Pynchon's other works are  
available this way and precious few are available as audio books.
