Well, I didn't look carefully enough in my open Amazon orders. There
is a separate page for digital items. When I look there, my Kindle
edition of IV is still showing. I discovered this when Amazon
partially responded to my inquiry, saying:

Of course, as you've noted, the book is now MIA from the Kindle store
(I just checked again) --- and Amazon did not answer my inquiry asking
if they send email acknowledgements of Kindle pre-orders.

More to follow...whether or not the Kindle edition arrives...mebbe more.
