As opposed to the unquestionably well-educated Nabokov and Joyce, or
Melville, whose book(s), while requiring and evidencing much considered
thought and skill, actually shows and requires very little education, is
there anything to suggest that OBA is well enough educated to have written
the books attributed to him?

Could Pynchon's books be the product of an autodidact (such as I)?
