Weisenburger: An allusion to the fateful Ghost Dance movement of Plains Indians tribes during the late 1880s...the leader enjoined his followers
"not to hurt anybody or do harm to anyone. You must not fight. Do right always."......
Noetheless, the movement spread among recently defeated Lakota tribes... [and] turned into an open insurgency culminating in the 1890 slaughter of Big Foot's band of Lakota Sioux at Wounded Knee.
So, which; pacifist's or insurgent's ghost shirt, would this Tonto don, asks Weisenburger.
