You have become a metasubject yourself on the p-list. Whatever is
said about your postings implicitly honors them, the angelic ---as JC rightly dubs it---passion and commitment it shows.
I have learned so much with all of your associations even if I resist some conclusions.
As many explicitly and tacitly disagree with many of my postings.
All it takes me is a moment's reading about almost ANY great writer's work to understand again that many of the finest readers disagree.
I think I may have posted a short bit on getting Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus to read cause i hadn't and learning that for 200 years---it took 200 for close readers to discover the ambiguity to begin with!---readers have been closely arguing over the meaning of 5---five!---compact, enjambed lines in THAT play.
And, not posted before, I have recently learned that the Nabokov scholar and biographer Boyd, I believe [not gonna look it up], has, decades after his first reading of Pale Fire, CHANGED his mind about who, really, is narrating!!!
