First time I read IV, I assumed we were supposed to instantly twig who
Sparky is meant to represent, and that only I didn't get it. But he
has thus far eluded us. Maybe of course he's pure fiction. Bill Gates
would be a decent guess. I also thought of Steve Wozniak (sp?), the
original Apple co-founder, sometime portrayed as the hippyish yin to
Steve Jobs's corporate-minded yang.

Sparky: a nickname for an electrician. Also, the character Radar
O'Reilly was always communicating with in M*A*S*H.

Sparky for me is the stand in for Bill Gates or so I think--Fritz says
he's the one controlling. teaching, eh?
