Ah, yeah, you're right. I was thinking of VALIS as the whole trilogy.
I really loved that book, read it on a plane coming back from holiday,
couldn't stop laughing. That bit where he writes his 'letter to the
authorities': "I Philip K Dick, have never liked you. But..."
Yet another possible entry on the IV 'Required Reading' list, which
keeps on growin'
AS an aside, again please help my memory, I once read a reference to
one of Dick's books, either 'The Transmigration of Timothy Archer' or
'Time Out of Joint', being a 'precursor' to Gravity's Rainbow.
