GR translation: government spectacles

The song "Lucy in Disguise with Glasses" was a Playboy Band take off of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" done by the Beatles.  It was said that the first one was an allusion to LSD.   

I don't think it has much bearing on GR at this point -  the clerk in the section where the glasses are worn would not be a candidate for tripping on the hallucinogenic scene.   (my unenlightened opinion,  of course)
